While living and working in Montréal for three years, I fell in love with this vibrant and artistic city, its unique charm and its diverse neighborhoods. My apartment was just a stone's throw away from Mont Royal, the green lung of the city. Reaching the Kondiaronk Belvédère, Montreal's downtown, the Old Port and the Saint Lawrence River spread in front of you and the mountains of the Cantons de l'Est can be spotted in the distance. Montréal's Old Port presents a rich industrial heritage with the Silo 5 being its most impressive building. Coming from a school that had a strong focus on post-industrial landscapes, I have had a big appreciation for this site from the moment I first saw it. Montréal, je t'adore.
